My wife and I have been coming here for years now and have loved it as our go to date night spot. We typically get the antipasti plate, salad, and greens pizza, but have probably tried everything on the menu, including all the pizzas. We always get a fantastic bottle of wine too. We loved Oma Grassa so much we decided to have our rehearsal dinner and welcome party here. We knew everything would be fantastic based on our years coming here but to say we were blown away by how fantastic everything was would be an understatement. Our family and friends raved about the food, wine, amazing staff, and gorgeous space. The staff, and especially Adam the owner who worked with us for a few months on planning, were so amazing and accommodating on all things but also for my dad in a wheelchair and for all of our group’s different dietary restrictions (and not just providing an option but delicious ones). Words can’t stress enough how much love we have for this restaurant and especially for the staff who make it such a gem.

Delicious pizzas and bottles of wine. Loved the mussels Fra diavola pizza. The anchovy pizza was good, but didn’t feel like the anchovy was the leading flavor on that pizza which was a negative. Overall really enjoyed this place and can’t wait to try some other ones

Wow, oh wow. PIZZA. Oma grassa on Fulton Street in Brooklyn. While we were here it was the best pizza we had on our trip. It was a Friday, I had just arrived in town to have a very much anticipated weekend with my Love in New York. She had just finished up rehersal and we needed a small bite to tied us over until dinner...it was so good. The place was perfect. You know its all about the crust and it was just burnt enough, fresh ingredients, the perfect pie. We were in Pizza heaven. They have a simple but wonderful menu and a decent wine selection. Can't wait to try another pizza soon! I have learned that it always helps when your sitting across from the most amazing person you've ever met. That's when your food and your experiences in life climax. You know the one, that one true love, that one soulmate, that one who makes you calm, who helps you be more you...yes that's her. Thank you for being all that to me and more. Love you ME

Great neighborhood spot! Pepperoni pie was top notch - very solid laid back, sit down pizza spot in Fort Greene. Might skip the side salad though. Have been twice and have always left wanting to come back and try their other pies.

a rainy thursday night at around 8:30pm shared two pizzas, a salad and the antipasta with chopped liver. salad was very very good ... well seasoned and well dressed and greatly enjoyed the shaved vinegared fennel. the chopped liver with hints of sesame oil went well with the house bread. the antipasta plate tho was more like an inverted giardiniera ... very oily and lacked brightness. very nice crust on both pizzas ... good bite and good char. food is run out to the table by the kitchen ... i always like this. we enjoyed a chilled lambrusca with our pizza so partner brought a bottle ... corkage is $30. a tough space because of the tile and windows but sound system needs attention. overall a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

The greens serves as your salad substitute. Very streamlined menu. The crust is interesting due to the unusually hot electric oven.

HOT TAKE: Oma Grassa might just have the BEST PIZZA in NYC!!! *best is subjective of course but let’s just say what they’re serving is delicious, special, thoughtful, seasonal, refined, classic, and darn good! The Summer Squash (seasonal) pie was beyond scrumptious - both hot on location, and the next day for breakfast right out of the fridge lol with a small but mighty wine list, and friendly service, Oma Grassa serves vintage ‘pizza parlor’ vibes for those who remember the 90’s. Cannot wait to go back!

The pizza is good, I especially liked the toppings, because I'm not a fan of dry thin crust. I also went to a pop-up and the food was more interesting. The space is airy and comfortable, and they thankfully keep the air cool in summer despite the oven.
